This is the only nonplant species — which often occupies the prime spot — in my balcony garden.
And such a worthy species for the occupation task. 🙂
He (Piper) thinks so, too. Westies “are possessed of no small amount of self-esteem.”

Yes, you do find them, much to my surprise.
Of all the blogs I’ve started, this one has been the easiest to write–it almost writes itself. This might mean in a contemplative community my role would be to “water the tomatoes” …. and probably walk the dogs, too.
Your westie is as cute as can be! I like company in the garden – my cat will stay with me most of the time – trouble is she won’t just sit nicely, she wants to rub on my legs and work at tripping me. (Must be some trick cats try to play on us).

I agree, the company is pleasant although not always helpful. I once told my mom that one of the big differences that Piper has made to life is that I still do all the same things, they just take longer to complete but they are more fun.
